After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.

Prompt Response:  I gained a lot of new knowledge on posters. I personally likes so many different posters because of all of the cool and unique designs. I saw so much inspiration and also I think I have so many ideas for next time. Overall this was a great project for me and I learned a lot.  Summary:  Today in class we watched videos and answered questions about ai. We also looked at classmates posters. Reflection:  I learned new ways to detect and new ways to use ai.

Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

Prompt Response:  Personally I think all of the question were good. I think the one that changed me the most was when it asked overcoming failure. This one is important to everyone because everyone should try to overcome something that has happened to them. I personally over came failure and this was a great moment for me.  Summary: Today in class we finished our simile and metaphor paper and started our digital poster.  Reflection: I learned more similes and more metaphors.

Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

Prompt Response:  I learned a lot about what I did in the past. I learned and remembered what I did in general and also liked this assignment because it really brought me back. I didn't learn much because I did all of these activities already but overall it influenced me what I did in the past and what I enjoy today.  Summary: Today we made 6 similes and 6 metaphors about ourselves. Reflection:  I learned and remembered more about my past and realized a lot.

Describe how you spent your time, any activities, traditions, travel, hobbies, or moments that stood out to you. You may also discuss something new you tried, something you learned, or how the break helped you reset before returning to school. Keep your response appropriate for a school setting and focus on experiences you are comfortable sharing publicly

Prompt Response:  During the break I went to Florida because I had a soccer tournament. Then  I stayed at the beach for two extra days. When I came back I hung out with friends and also family. I enjoyed myself a lot and the break was well needed. It allowed me to think and reset for the next 6 weeks before spring break.  Summary: Today in class we worked on a poem and read it. Reflection:  I learned a new poem about black history month.

If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.

Prompt Response:  If I had to show my love in 3 ways I would say good conversations, hoodie, and good eats. I would say these 3 things because they represent me the most. To relate to my personality, the hoodie shows lot of comfort, the long conversations shows that I like to talk and really like to listen to others, and the good eats show I love eating, and its always better with someone or a group of people. Those best represent me.  Summary: Absent from class Reflection:  Absent from class

Now that you have completed the rhetorical analysis essay, reflect on your growth. Support your reflection with specific references to the writing process.

Prompt Response:  Writing this essay allowed me to understand the basics in writing and also how to sound better in my writing. I learned a lot and how to write better overall. I feel better about my ability to write and feel confident enough to continue writing. I learned different methods to brainstorm such as finding rhetorical devices and sighting them straight from the text.  Summary: Today we wrote our essay. Reflection:  I learned how good I was at writing.

Today, you learned how to complete a rhetorical analysis planning guide step by step, from identifying the rhetorical situation to analyzing devices and effects. Reflect on one step of the rhetorical analysis process that helped you understand the process more clearly. Explain what you learned during that step and how it improved your ability to analyze a speaker’s message.

Prompt Response:  I would say that step 3 helped me the most. Step 3 was the step where we made the circles and you brainstorm for the essay. This helped me the most because it really broke the project down and allowed me to understand what I will write about on the essay. I learned how to brainstorm effectively and get straight to the key points.  Summary:  Today in class we continued to complete our work for the essay.  Reflection:  I learned new ways to write and different methods to site.
